Closeout and Warranty notifications help you stay informed about activity on your project’s Requirements and Warranty Issues. You can choose which notifications you receive for each project and set your preferences for future projects.
Change notification settings in the user profile
Changing your notification settings in the User Profile will enable you to opt in or out of receiving notifications on your projects.
To start, click on your name at the top-right of the page and select Profile. Next, click Manage email notifications.
Manage email preferences for new projects
Use Email Preferences to control the emails you receive and whether Buildr automatically subscribes you to notifications when you are added to future projects.
Select or clear the checkbox next to each preference:
Weekly snapshot report: Receive a weekly email summarizing the status of your projects.
Automatically subscribe to Closeout notifications on new projects: Receive closeout submission emails when you are added to a new project.
Automatically subscribe to Warranty Issue notifications on new projects: Receive warranty issue emails when you are added to a new project.
Changes are saved automatically.
Manage project notifications
Use the Project Notifications table to choose the types of notifications you receive for each project.
Find the project(s) you want to update. Use the search field or filter projects by All, Closeout, Warranty, or Completed.
Select or clear the checkbox in the project’s Closeout column to subscribe or unsubscribe from closeout notifications.
Select or clear the checkbox in the project’s Warranty column to subscribe or unsubscribe from warranty issue notifications.
A selected checkbox means you will receive that notification type for the project.
Manage notifications from within a project
Use the notification controls in a project when you are already working in that project and want to quickly update your subscription.
Manage Closeout notifications
Open the project and click Requirements.
Click More.
Select Subscribe/Unsubscribe to Notifications.
This updates your Closeout notification subscription for the current project.
Manage Warranty Issue notifications
Open the project and click Warranty Issues.
Click Subscribe/Unsubscribe to Notifications in the top-right corner.
This updates your Warranty Issue notification subscription for the current project.
View project team notification settings
To see which project team members receive notifications, click Team in the left navigation.
Here, you can view each team member’s email address and whether they receive Closeout Notifications and/or Warranty Issues Notifications. A checkmark indicates that the notification type is enabled for that team member.
Note: You can only edit your own notification settings. If someone on your team wants to change their notification settings, send them this article to walk them through the steps to turn on/off notifications on their account.
