What are the different Project Statuses and how are they updated?

Buildr automatically assigns Project Statuses to every project based on the Stage and the start/end dates that you set.

Here is a list of each status and the details for when each status is applied:

  • Pursuit - displays any time an opportunity is in a Stage that is Active

  • Lost - displays any time an opportunity has a Lost Stage

  • Upcoming - displays any time an opportunity is in a Won stage and before the start date

  • Active - displays any time an opportunity is in a Won stage and in between the start and end date

  • Complete - displays any time an opportunity is in a Won stage and the current date is after the end date

So for example, imagine you won an Opportunity last year and set it to the "Won" stage. The project started at the end of last year, and the completion date is sometime next year. In this case, the Project Status would be "Active".

How to View Project Statuses on Opportunities

Buildr automatically updates the Project Status for every Opportunity.

The Project Status is a filter that can be added to any View. Click the Columns button next to New Opportunity, and select Project Status to enable it.

You can also view the Project Status by clicking on a specific Opportunity. The status is displayed in the Opportunity Details:
