How to Approve or Deny Requirements

When a subcontractor submits a document through Buildr or as a Procore Submittal, it will appear under the Submitted status in orange:

Once the requested documents are submitted, it's time to review and deny/approve them. To view a Requirement, click on the Company Name:

Then, select the Submitted Requirement:

Click the document that needs review:

Approving Submitted Requirements

To approve a Requirement, navigate to the bottom right of the pop-up window and select Approve:

Once you have approved the document(s) for the Requirement, click Complete Requirement. This will move the Requirement to the Completed stage:

Requesting Additional Review

If the document(s) requires additional review, select Request Review and send a message to your reviewer(s) via Buildr:

Note: All reviewers must complete the review process before moving the Requirement to the Completed stage.

Denying Submitted Requirements

To deny a requirement, navigate to the bottom right of the pop-up window and select Deny. Once denied, click Request Changes to send a message to your submitters:

This will move the Requirement to the Revise and Resubmit stage. Once the document is resubmitted by the Subcontractor, you can approve or deny the resubmission (see steps outlined above).

As Requirements are approved and moved to the Completed stage, the Completion Percentage for both the project and Subcontractor will be updated accordingly:
